This 24-month internship programme, hosted by the Corporate Legal department under SSCO, is designed to provide unemployed law graduates with practical experience that complements their academic training. Based in Centurion and offering a monthly stipend between R5 000 and R6 000, the programme aims to develop interns’ legal competencies within a corporate and regulatory environment. It supports CIDB’s commitment to employment equity and encourages candidates with disabilities to apply. Applicants who have previously participated in any internship or graduate programme are not eligible.

Responsibilities

• Assist with legal research and drafting of legal documents
• Support contract review and compliance monitoring
• Participate in regulatory and governance-related tasks
• Help maintain legal records and documentation
• Contribute to internal legal advisory processes
• Provide administrative support to the Corporate Legal team
• Engage in learning and development aligned with the internship objectives

Qualifications

• A qualification in LLB
• Analytical thinking skills
• Problem-solving ability
• Effective communication skills
• Teamwork capability
• Must be a South African citizen or permanent resident with a valid South African ID
• Must not have participated in any previous internship or graduate programme
